Quality Control Engineer

I am the son of A. Muthiyan, and I work out of Manakkarai in the Jayankondam area. This is in the Ariyalur district. My post office is Chinnavalayam. It’s a rural spot, very different from the big cities like Chennai. I work as a Quality Control Engineer for the local projects around here. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning. Usually, I am out in the field or sitting at my wooden desk at home. People in the village know me and my family. We have been in Manakkarai for generations. My work is about making sure the materials and the builds are done the right way. I don't have a big company name, just my title and my reputation. I use a motorcycle to get around to different sites in Ariyalur. The roads aren't always great, but I get there. I don't have a secretary to answer the phone. If you call, you get me directly. I don't use big words to explain things. I just tell it like it is. If the cement is bad, I say it’s bad. That’s how I was raised. It’s a simple way of living. I do my work, I spend time with my family, and I try to help the community when I can. The 621802 area is where I belong, and I’m proud of the work I do here. It’s quiet and everyone knows everyone else.
