If you head out to the Developed Plot Estates in Thuvakkudy, you’ll find us at D 99. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We’ve been operating Gb Engineering Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. from this same spot for quite a few years now. The workshop is a large, open space with high ceilings and concrete floors. It isn’t a place for suits and ties. We spend most of our time in work clothes, dealing with metal and various engineering projects. It gets pretty dusty when the wind blows through the estate, but that’s just part of being out here. Our team is small and mostly made up of people who have been doing this kind of work their whole lives. We don’t have a big fancy reception area. If someone comes to see us, they usually just find us on the shop floor near the machines. We start early in the morning to get ahead of the heat. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the books and the drawings. We don't do much in terms of advertising or big promotions. Most of our work comes from people who know where we are and what we can do. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible without making things complicated.
