We’ve been at this spot in Selva Nagar for a good while now. It’s right on the third cross, near Rettai Vaikkal. The workshop gets pretty warm during the day, especially when the machines have been running since morning. Most of us here have grease under our fingernails most of the time. We don't have a big reception area or fancy furniture, just the desks where we keep the records and the main floor where the actual engineering happens. It’s a practical setup. When the sun hits the Vayalur Road traffic, you can hear the horns from inside the shop. We usually start around nine and keep going until the work for the day is done. Sometimes that means staying late if a part isn't sitting right or a drawing needs a second look. The people around here in Rettai Vaikkal know us as the guys who are always tinkering with something. It’s not always quiet, and the floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, but that’s just how an engineering place is supposed to look. We handle whatever comes through the door at Plot No.15 and Door No.28. It might be a small fix or a bigger job that takes a week. We just take it as it comes. There isn't much talk about big goals, we just want to make sure the parts we send out are solid. The tea stall down the road sees a lot of us during the afternoon break. It's just a regular bunch of us working hard here in Trichy.
