Teamates

Out on Makum Road, specifically on the Main Road in Makum, is where you’ll find the Teamates building. It’s a very local feel here, nothing like the giant cities. The road outside has trucks passing by all day, and there’s a lot of activity from the nearby shops. Our place is simple and functional. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people who stop by and keeping track of what’s coming in and going out. The office isn't much to look at, just some sturdy furniture and a couple of ceiling fans that have seen better days. We don't have a website with a bunch of fancy photos; we just rely on being here every day and doing what needs to be done. Makum is the kind of place where everyone knows the weather is going to be either too hot or too rainy, so we just plan our work around that. We take our tea breaks seriously, usually sitting near the entrance to watch the traffic go by. There isn't a formal dress code here; we just wear what works for a day of movement and office tasks. We handle our business one day at a time, making sure the ledgers are balanced and the floor is swept. It’s just a regular workplace for regular people, and we like it that way. No big speeches or complicated systems, just straightforward work on the main road.
