D S Farm

Down here at the Railway Colony on Raja Ali Road, things are pretty quiet most of the time except when the trains go by. Being near the railway station means there is always some noise but you get used to it after a few days. We run D S Farm from this spot. It isn't a huge operation but it keeps us busy from sunrise until it gets dark. We spend a lot of time outside dealing with the daily chores that come with a farm. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes the weather doesn't help us much, but we just keep going. People come by and ask us about what we are doing and we tell them. It is a simple life really. We don't have a big team of people, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. Being near the station is actually quite handy for getting things moved around when we need to. My cousin helps me out during the busy seasons. We don't really do much advertising or anything, mostly just word of mouth around the colony. Raja Ali Road is a busy place sometimes with all the commuters. We just focus on our own work and try to do it right. It's been our life for a good while now and we don't plan on changing much. Just a regular farm near the tracks. We like the rhythm of the place even when the ground is hard.
