Abohtani Agro Producer Company Limited

We are based out in Vill-Shantipur 7 Nop, right near the police station in Sadiya. Being up here in Tinsukia means we are pretty far from the big cities, but that suits us fine. Abohtani Agro is really just a group of us looking after the local farming interests. The area around Shantipur is quiet, and most people here know each other by name. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we handle the logistics of what the farmers bring in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to do things by hand, but we manage. It’s a lot of physical work, moving sacks and checking the quality of the harvest. We don't use big words or have long meetings about strategy. We just look at what's in front of us and figure out the best way to move it. If you ever find yourself in this part of Assam, you'll see the fields stretching out everywhere. That's where our hearts are. We spend a lot of time talking to the elders in the village because they know the land better than any book. It's a simple life, focused on the seasons and the crops. We make mistakes sometimes, maybe forget to file a paper right away, but the actual farming part is what we take seriously. It’s just how things work here every day.
