Our place is at number Iii/ 30 in Paliakkara. We are very close to the Toll Plaza, so we hear the sound of cars and trucks passing by all day long. It’s a convenient location for us because of the easy access to the highway. We handle various types of metals, and the workshop is often full of different scraps and sheets. Chittissery Post is where we get our mail, and it’s a quiet enough area once you get away from the main road. The building we are in is an older structure, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain off the metal. Inside, things are laid out in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. We spend a lot of our time sorting through the arrivals and making sure everything is ready for the next customer. The guys here have a good rhythm going, and we usually take our breaks together under the shade of the big tree out front. We don't have a big corporate team, just a small group of local workers who know the metal business well. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the workshop feel like an oven, but we keep the fans going and get the job done. It’s a basic, honest living, and we’ve been part of this community for quite a while now.
