Ispat Industries

Down here in Thrissur, things are a bit greener and the pace is different than in the big cities up north. Ispat Industries operates out of Adamkavil House in Urakam. It’s a more personal setting than a typical office block. Ajeesh Adamkavil is the name on the door, and this is where the planning happens. Kerala has its own way of doing business, and we fit right into that. We spend our days looking over documents and managing the local requirements for industrial materials. The rain here can be quite something, and sometimes we just watch it from the porch while waiting for a call to go through. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have a team of people in suits. It’s more likely you’ll find us in comfortable clothes just trying to stay on top of the schedule. We deal with people we’ve known for a long time. There is a lot of history in this house and in the way we handle our business. We don't use any fancy software that we don't need. A simple computer and a phone are usually enough to keep everything moving. We value the quiet of the neighborhood and the fact that we can do our work without all the chaos of a city center. It’s a practical, straightforward operation. We just take it one day at a time and make sure we don't miss any details before the day is over.
