Keratech Coconut Oil Manufacturing Company Pvt Ltd is based in Engandiyur at a building called Keramithra Bhavan. We are located on West Tippusultan Road. The area here is very green with a lot of coconut trees around us, which makes sense given what we do. The building itself is a solid structure and we have our production area right there. The air always smells like coconuts, especially when the sun is out and the dryers are running. We get a lot of rain in this part of the country, so the roof makes a lot of noise during the monsoon season. Inside the office at Keramithra Bhavan, it is pretty basic. We have some wooden chairs and a few old fans that hum all day. It is not a modern glass building by any means. We are just a local operation with people from the village coming in to work every shift. The road outside isn't very wide, so when two big trucks meet, they have to squeeze past each other. We drink a lot of coffee here instead of tea. The pace is steady but not rushed like in the big cities. We’ve got the post office nearby which is handy for our mail. It is a honest place to work and the people who live around here are our friends and neighbors. We just keep our heads down and do the work without much fuss.
