Karunabavan

Karunabavan is located in the Koprakkalam area of Kaipamangalam. It’s a quiet enough place in Thrissur, not like the middle of the city where everything is always rushing. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a bit now. The building itself is simple, nothing too modern or flashy to look at from the road. Most people around here know where Koprakkalam is, so finding us isn't usually a big problem. We spend most of our days here handling the usual tasks. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. The local shops nearby are where we get our supplies. There’s a certain way things work in Kaipamangalam, and we just follow that pace. It’s not a massive operation. We have a few rooms where the work happens and a small area for people to sit if they come by. The floors are plain tile and the walls have a few old calendars on them. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. It’s more about having a place to work and seeing our neighbors. Sometimes the rain hits the roof so hard we have to talk a bit louder. We like being part of this community. It feels like home to most of us who work here. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head back when the sun goes down.
