Down at Sasthri Road in Nellikknnu, you will find our facility. The official address is TC 16-1382. Most people know us through the Double Horse brand, but here on the ground, we are Manjilas Food Tech. It is a place where we process a lot of different food items. The air usually smells like rice or spices depending on what we are running through the machines that day. It is a big operation with a lot of people moving around in hairnets and uniforms. We have to be very careful about cleanliness, so there is a lot of washing and scrubbing involved in every shift. The road outside can get pretty cramped when the delivery vans are trying to back in. We’ve been in this Nellikknnu spot for a long time and it feels like home to most of the staff. It’s not a fancy office job. We are on our feet most of the time, checking the packaging lines or making sure the dryers are at the right temperature. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to call in the mechanics, which slows everything down. But that's just how it goes in food production. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on getting the bags filled and the crates loaded. It is steady work and it keeps us busy from early morning until the sun goes down over Sasthri Road. We just keep the lines moving as best we can.
