You can find us in the Krishnanjali Building over in Agalad, which is near the East Nada in the Thrissur/Anand area. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of weddings, which is good because that’s what we handle. It’s a small office where we keep catalogs of stage designs and photos of past work we’ve done. The street outside is often packed with pilgrims and wedding parties, so there is always a lot of energy around. We spend our days talking to families who are usually quite stressed out about their big day. We try to help them sort out the flowers, the seating, and all those little details that people forget until the last minute. It’s not a perfect system; sometimes the flower delivery is late because of the rain or a decorator gets sick, but we always find a way to make it work. The building itself is just a standard place, nothing too flashy, but it serves us well. We’ve lived in this part of Kerala for a long time and we understand how people like things to be done for their ceremonies. It’s a lot of running around and making sure the garlands look fresh and the chairs are lined up straight. It’s tiring but it’s a good feeling when the ceremony is over and everything went okay without any major problems. We just keep doing our bit to help folks out.
