We are based in the Ammani Amma Tower, specifically in Building No: 2/413, over in Chittilappilly. It is a fairly recognizable building in this area, so we are usually pretty easy to find for anyone looking for us. We deal in various kinds of metals. Our day mostly consists of handling the stock, taking orders from local builders, and making sure the right materials go out to the right construction sites. The tower itself is a busy place with people coming and going all the time. We have our own section where we keep the metals organized as best as we can manage. It is heavy work, moving metal sheets and bars around the space, so we stay pretty fit just doing the daily chores. We don't have any big slogans or flashy advertisements on the walls. Word of mouth in this part of Thrissur is usually how new people find out about what we do. We try to be reliable with our timing. If we say we have a certain material in stock, we actually have it. If we don’t, we will tell you honestly when it might arrive from the suppliers. The office is very simple—just some chairs, a desk, and the ledger books where we keep track of everything. We have been part of this community for a while now. You get to know the contractors and the local guys who are doing their own home repairs. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to move the heavy stuff, but we have our ways of getting the job done.
