The Vikasa School

The Vikasa School is located at 106 J/36 on 2nd Street in Millerpuram. It’s a residential-looking area, so we try not to disturb the neighbors too much, though that’s hard with a school full of kids. The building is tucked away a bit, and you have to look for the sign on 2nd Street. We’ve been here for a while, and the place has its quirks, like the way the main door sticks during the monsoon season. Our days are filled with the sound of bells and teachers calling out names. We spend a good chunk of our time just managing the schedule and making sure there’s enough chalk and pens for everyone. It’s a small operation compared to some of the bigger schools in the city. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us teachers and the office staff doing the heavy lifting. The playground isn't huge, but it gets the job done during break time. We often have parents dropping by to ask about their kids or to pay fees, so the front office is always a bit cluttered with receipts and notebooks. It’s honest work, and we all know our roles. We don't worry about being the most modern place around. We just focus on keeping the classrooms running and making sure the kids are where they are supposed to be.
