This place is actually part of a house, Ammianickal House in Moonnilavu, where we run Walapreneur Information Technologies And Services Private Limited. Jeswin started it here because it made sense at the time. It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s how things are in this part of the world. We deal with IT and services, mostly just sitting at desks and figuring out whatever problems land in our inbox. It’s not a corporate park or a skyscraper. We’re surrounded by trees and the usual local neighborhood sounds. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and peek in, wondering what we’re doing with all these computers. We just keep our heads down and get through the day. Working from a home-based office has its quirks, like the occasional family noise or the postman dropping off mail right at the desk. We don't have a big HR department or fancy coffee machines. Usually, someone just makes a pot of tea in the kitchen. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us trying to keep things moving. We handle the tech stuff so other people don't have to. Being in Moonnilavu means we aren't stuck in city traffic, which is a plus. We’ve been here for a while and haven't seen much reason to move. It’s practical, it’s close to home, and it gets the job done. We just do what we can with the tools we have and try to stay productive throughout the week.
