We are Vinirma and our office is tucked away in Sasthamangalam, Thiruvananthapuram. The address is Tc 9/977. It is a green part of town, which makes coming to work a bit better than the crowded areas. Thiruvananthapuram is a city that moves at its own pace. It is not like the rush of Mumbai or Bangalore. Here, people take their time to talk to one another. We have been in this building for quite a while now. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or take a short rickshaw ride. The office is not anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it is just desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of tea being drunk. We handle various projects that come our way. It is hard to describe exactly one thing we do because we end up helping with whatever is needed in the local market. Sometimes it is consulting, other times it is administrative stuff. We do not have a big fancy sign out front. People usually find us by word of mouth or by looking for the house number 977. The rain in Kerala is something else. When it pours, the sound on the roof is so loud we have to stop talking for a bit. We just wait it out. It is a nice way to spend the day, honestly. Working in Sasthamangalam feels like being part of a real community. We know the shopkeepers nearby and where to get the best snacks.
