Vam Systems, Trivandrum

Vam Systems is our name and we are based out of Aranya in the Palayamkunnu area of Varkala. This is in the Trivandrum district of South Kerala, pin code 695146. Varkala is known for the beach and the cliffs, but we are a bit further inland in the Palayamkunnu part. It is a nice change from the really crowded city centers. The office is called Aranya, and it has a very local, grounded vibe. We aren't some massive agency with thousands of employees. It is just a handful of us who know the tech world and decided to set up shop here. We get to work in a place that feels like home, which is something you don't find much anymore. Usually, we are busy with projects and don't have much time for small talk, but the atmosphere here is never stressed. The building is simple, the furniture is old but comfortable, and we just focus on the computer screens. Sometimes you can hear the birds or the local traffic, and it reminds you that there is a real world outside the office. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just show up at Aranya every morning and do the best we can with the tools we have. It is a practical way to live and work in this part of Kerala.
