United Blocks & Allied Building Materials

United Blocks & Allied Building Materials is located over on Thumpa Road. If you know the Kochuveli area, you probably know where Plot Number 9/P is. It’s a bit of an industrial part of town which makes sense for what we do here. We have a lot of space in the yard for all the blocks and building materials we keep on hand. It gets pretty dusty and loud sometimes with all the trucks coming and going but that’s just how it is. We start our mornings early when the sun is just coming up. There is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around to make sure the orders are ready. Thumpa Road is usually busy with people moving materials back and forth. We’ve been at this plot for a good while and the neighbors know us. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a fancy visit but it works for what we need. We keep a close eye on the stock and make sure the yard stays somewhat organized, though it gets messy by the end of the day. Working in Kochuveli means we see a lot of the same faces every week. We aren't doing anything complicated, just handling building supplies and making sure they get where they need to go. It’s hard work but it’s honest. We just stick to our routine and keep the gate open for whoever needs us.
