Somjai Agroforestry Private Limited is located down in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Our address is 29/590, Seeveli Nagar, in the Kaithamukku area of Pettah. It is a nice part of the world to be in, with all the greenery around us. We focus on agroforestry, which is basically just a fancy way of saying we care about trees and farming together. Our office is a modest place where we keep our records and meet with people. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. Most people find us by asking around or looking for the number on the gate. The humidity here can be something else, but we are used to it by now. We are a small group of people who just like working with nature. We don't have any big corporate goals to take over the world. We just want to make sure the projects we are working on actually work out for the land. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing because of all the different rules, but we sit down and figure it out together. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the best ways to plant things or manage a piece of land. It’s quiet, steady work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big numbers. We just want to do a decent job and stay honest with the people we work with every single day.
