Shijo Joseph

Shijo Joseph is located at the Elempurayidathil House in Amboori. This is in Trivandrum, Kerala. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you are coming from the main city, but it’s a beautiful part of the world. The house is a traditional kind of place. It’s where we grew up and where we still do our work now. Amboori is very green and quiet. You don’t get the city noise here, just the sound of the birds and the wind in the trees. It’s a different way of living and working. We don’t have a storefront or a big office sign. It’s just the family home. People in the village know us. Kerala is known for being peaceful and this spot is exactly that. We handle our affairs from the front room mostly. It’s got a lot of history in these walls. We aren’t trying to be some big multinational company. We are just local people doing what we can from our own home. The mail comes to the Amboori P.O. and then finds its way to us. It’s a simple life but it suits the way we like to do things. We don’t need anything fancy or polished. Just the house and the quiet and the daily work. If you ever come by, you'll see it is just a regular Kerala home where things get done.
