We’re over at Kowadiar Gardens in Thiruvananthapuram, specifically at Plot No. H I-12. The address can be a bit confusing because of the old and new numbers, TC 23/1334 and TC 5/2325, but most delivery people find us okay once they get onto Kowadiar Road. It’s a nice part of town, pretty green and usually quite calm. Shades of Brown is a small operation. We don’t have a massive staff or a fancy reception desk. We just have our workspace where we deal with our daily tasks. The office is tucked away a bit, which is good for focusing. We don’t really go for the high-pressure corporate style. We just take things as they come. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have a lot of orders or requests coming in at once. We handle things ourselves, from the paperwork to the actual work. It’s been a learning process figuring out the best way to run everything from this spot in Kerala. We like the neighborhood and the people around here. It feels like a real community. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big claims. We just want to keep the business running and do right by the people who come to us. Our door is usually open during the day, and we try to keep things as straightforward as possible. There’s no secret to how we work, we just put in the hours.
