Earthen Fashions

Our place is No. 57 over in Snra Sangeetha Nagar, specifically in the Pangappara area. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on sewing. Earthen Fashions is really just a local operation where we take fabric and turn it into something someone can wear. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We have our machines lined up and the cutting table takes up a good chunk of the middle room. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and peek in to see what we’re working on today. It’s a friendly vibe. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us doing the work and making sure the quality is decent before anything goes out the door. The building is a standard house-style setup that we’ve converted to fit our needs. You might see a few thread scraps on the floor or some patterns pinned to the walls. It’s a working environment, through and through. We started here because the location was convenient, and we’ve just stayed put. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and a look at the schedule. We don't make big promises, we just try to finish the garments on time and hope the fit is right for whoever bought it. It’s a steady rhythm that suits us just fine.
