Giorgious

Giorgious is a small spot we run here in Kerala. We don’t have a huge, multi-story building or anything like that, just a local presence where we handle our business daily. The atmosphere here is quite relaxed, much like the rest of the state, especially when the monsoon rains start hitting the roof. We spend most of our mornings opening up the shop, checking what needs to be restocked, and waiting for the first few people to walk through the door. It’s not the kind of place that uses big words or tries to act like a global corporation. We are just local people serving other local people. Sometimes we have a lot of items on the shelves, and other times we are waiting for a delivery that got stuck somewhere on the road. It’s a simple way of living and working. We know many of our customers by name, and we usually end up chatting about the weather or local news more than the products themselves. Our space is a bit cramped at times because we try to fit in as much as we can, but it feels cozy to us. We don't have a mission statement written on the wall; we just try to be honest and do a decent job every day. If things get a bit messy or unorganized, we just fix it when we have a spare moment. It’s just how we do things here in our little corner of Kerala.
