Our company is based at Charuvila Puthen Veedu in Karavaloor. It’s a small place near Punalur in the Kollam district of Kerala. While the address is a mouthful if you aren't from around here, it’s really just a traditional house where we’ve set up our international operations. Karavaloor is a beautiful, green area and having our office here makes the workday feel more relaxed than in a city. We have our computers and files in one of the main rooms. Even though we deal with international matters, we are still just a local family business at heart. The post office is nearby, and the local community is very tight-knit. A lot of our time is spent on the phone or responding to messages from different parts of the world. It’s interesting to do all that from such a quiet village in Kerala. We don't have a big corporate sign or a reception desk. If you come by, you are basically coming to our home. Usually, we have the windows open to let the breeze in. When the monsoon season comes, it gets quite rainy, which changes the whole mood of the place. We just keep working through it. Our focus is on getting the job done without any unnecessary drama. Being in Kollam gives us a sense of peace that you just don't find in larger places. We are quite content running things from Charuvila Puthen Veedu. It works for us and our family.
