Excelsior

Being located right by the Post Office-Muttada in Dist.Thiruvananthapuram makes things easy when we have to send out mail, which happens more often than you’d think. Excelsior is tucked away in this part of the district, and it’s got a very local feel to it. The humidity here can be something else, especially during the monsoon months when everything feels a bit damp and the air gets heavy. We have a couple of old fans that creak a bit, but they keep the air moving well enough for us to stay focused. People around here know the Muttada area well, so giving directions is usually just a matter of mentioning the post office. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby; you just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. It’s a practical setup for us. The floor is that old-fashioned tile that stays cool under your feet, which is nice when it’s boiling outside. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we all just sit around and chat until it comes back on. It’s a slower pace of life here, and we’ve grown to appreciate that over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just a place that does its job and stays out of trouble. There’s a tea stall just down the road that makes the best ginger tea, and someone usually goes on a run to get some for the whole office.
