Deepu Interlock & Hollow Brick

You can find us over in Vadasherykom, near Varkala Post. We have been running this interlock and hollow brick yard for a while now. It is a pretty basic setup. We have the machines for the hollow blocks and the molds for the interlocking stones. Most of our days are spent out in the open, moving heavy stuff around and making sure the cement mixes are right. Varkala is a nice place but the work is still hard. We do not have a fancy showroom or a bunch of salespeople. Usually, I am the one answering the phone and showing people the stock we have ready. Sometimes the machine breaks down and we spend half the day trying to fix it with a wrench and some grease. It is just how it is with this kind of work. We try to keep a good amount of the popular colors of interlock stones because everyone seems to want the same ones lately. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the work done and have enough bricks for when the local builders need them. It is a lot of sweat and dust, but it is a living. We are just regular people working hard in the yard every day to keep things moving along. Sometimes the rain catches us off guard, but we just cover the piles and wait.
