Arundas Y.L

I work out of my place called A.K Nilayam in Lourdepuram. This is in Kanjiramkulam, a part of Thiruvananthapuram that feels a bit more like a village than the city. My address is fairly well known to the locals here. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so setting up my work as Arundas Y.L right here made the most sense. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, though you hear the occasional goat or some neighbors talking across the fences. My workspace is just a part of the house that I’ve dedicated to my daily tasks. It’s not a formal corporate office by any stretch. There are trees all around and it stays relatively cool compared to the concrete parts of town. I handle my business with a lot of local people who just walk over when they need something. There’s a certain comfort in working from home in Kanjiramkulam. I don't have to deal with the city traffic every morning. The days are usually marked by the sound of the local church or temple and the school kids walking home in the afternoon. It’s a simple existence. I have my files and my computer, and that’s about all I need to get things done. People know where to find me if they have a question. It’s just how we do things in this part of the world. No fancy signboards or big offices are needed when everyone knows everyone else. It's a peaceful way to live.
