Up here in the Nilgiris, things move a little slower than in the big cities. We are located at 4-340-3 V P Gandhi Nagar, which is over in Kodanad, part of the Kotagari Taluk. It’s a pretty quiet spot, mostly green and full of trees. Alpas Camps And Resorts India Private Limited is run from this office, and we spend a lot of our time looking out at the hills when we aren't busy. Being in Tamil Nadu but way up in the 643217 area means the weather is usually nice, though it gets a bit damp during the monsoon months. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of workers. It’s just a handful of us here in Gandhi Nagar. We chose this place because it fits what we do. The road up here can be a bit winding, so you have to be careful if you’re driving for the first time. We spend our days dealing with the usual business tasks, mostly just paperwork and phone calls. It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s what we like about it. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out for a bit, but we just wait it out. It’s a simple way of living and working. We don't really do much advertising or anything loud. We just stay here in Kotagari and keep the business running as best as we can without much trouble. It's just home for us.
