Hotel Sinclairs Ooty

We have been running Hotel Sinclairs Ooty for a while now up here on Gorishola Road. It's a quiet spot, away from the middle of the town where it gets really busy and loud. If you are looking for 444 on this road, you will find us easily enough. The weather here changes fast, so we keep blankets ready for the cold nights. Most of us working here live nearby in Ooty. We see a lot of people coming up for the cool air when it gets hot in the plains. The building has some age to it but we try to keep things tidy and working. Sometimes the mist comes right up to the windows in the morning. It makes for a nice start to the day. People usually ask about the walk to the botanical gardens or the lake. It isn't too far, but the uphill walk back can be a bit much if you aren't used to the altitude. We have some space for cars out front. The kitchen starts early because folks want their tea. We don't do anything too fancy, just regular food that people like. It is mostly families staying with us during the holidays. We just go about our work day by day, making sure the rooms are ready when people show up after their long drives. It gets really dark on Gorishola Road at night, which is good for sleeping I guess. We've been at this address for years and know the turns in the road well.
