Hotel Khems

If you walk down Ettines Road, you’ll find us. Hotel Khems is just a regular spot where people come when they need a bed for the night. We aren't tucked away in some hidden corner; we are right there where the road gets busy. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know the local area pretty well. It’s not a huge place with hundreds of rooms, which makes it easier for us to keep track of things. Usually, we are busy in the mornings getting breakfast sorted or checking if the laundry came back yet. The rooms are straightforward. We don’t go for anything too flashy because that’s not really our style. People come here for work or maybe a quick trip, and they just want a decent spot to rest. The walls have been painted a few times, and the furniture has some wear on it, but it’s sturdy. We spend our afternoons sitting near the entrance or helping someone with their bags. Ettines Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of that over the years. It can get a little chilly in the evenings depending on the season, so we make sure there are enough blankets for everyone. There is a tea shop nearby where we usually go when things are slow. It’s a plain life here, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the day.
