Kv Ram Universal Exports

Our place, Kv Ram Universal Exports, is at 1577-a Pillaiyar Kovil Street. It’s a busy street because of the temple nearby. You can hear the bells sometimes during the day. The building is a bit old, but it stays cool inside which is nice when it gets hot outside. We have a small sign above the door. Most of the space inside is used for storage and some desks for the clerical work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out labels by hand. It’s just how we do things here. There’s a lot of traffic on Pillaiyar Kovil Street, so getting stuff in and out can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We have to time it right with the trucks. My chair squeaks a bit when I move, but I've gotten used to it. We keep a fan going most of the time to keep the air moving. Kv Ram Universal Exports is basically just a small team of us working through the daily orders. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some notes tacked up. Lunch is usually brought from home and we eat it together in the back room. It’s a plain life but it keeps us busy. We try to keep the floor swept, but dust always finds its way in from the street. That's just part of being in this neighborhood at 1577-a.
