Edwin Exports

We operate Edwin Exports from Kottaipakkan Street in the Keelapunalvasal Post area. This is part of the Thiruvaiyaru taluk within the Thanjavur district. Being in Thanjavur means we are surrounded by a lot of history, but our day-to-day is much more about the practical side of exporting. Our office is a basic room where we keep all our ledgers and shipping documents. It’s often just a couple of us here making sure the orders are processed correctly. The air can get quite heavy in the afternoons, so we usually have a fan going while we work. We spend a lot of time talking to local suppliers and making sure everything is ready for the long journey ahead. It’s a lot of manual work, checking boxes and writing out labels by hand sometimes. We don’t have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. From sweeping the floor to handling the complicated export forms, it all falls on us. The Keelapunalvasal area is a good place for us because it’s familiar and quiet. We’ve stayed on Kottaipakkan Street because it’s where we started and it works for what we need. We don't really have any big plans to move or change things up. We just want to keep the business going steadily, one day at a time, making sure each shipment is handled right. It is a slow and steady process for our small team.
