You can find us on Mahalaxmi Street, right near the post office. It’s a handy landmark for people who aren't from this part of town. We work with clay, which is a messy business but we like it. We’ve been here for years, and the street hasn't changed much, though it’s gotten a bit busier. Our focus is on making and selling clay products that people need for their homes or small businesses. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the clay and making sure the firing process goes right. Sometimes things break in the kiln, and that's just part of the job. We don't have a website or anything like that; we mostly just talk to people face-to-face. If you walk down Mahalaxmi Street, you’ll probably see our stacks of finished goods. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the place gets a bit cramped. The neighborhood knows us well. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make decent stuff that lasts. People come to us because they know they’ll get an honest answer about what we have in stock. It’s a simple operation, really. Just some clay, some fire, and a lot of hard work every day. We just keep the wheels turning and hope the weather stays good for drying the pieces. It’s a living, and we’re happy to be part of the street.
