Astron Ceramic

Over here at Astron Ceramic, we are located right on the Chotila Road in Jamwadi. If you know the Jamwadi bus stop, we are just a short walk from there. Thangadh is a place where everyone knows about ceramics, so we are just one of the many shops doing this kind of work. It gets quite noisy with the traffic passing by on the main road, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend most of our time looking at tiles and ceramic pieces, making sure they aren't cracked or chipped before they go out. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our inventory and talk to people who drop in. Sometimes it's a local builder and other times it's just someone looking to fix up a bathroom. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just ceramics. We open up early, sweep the front, and start the day. The heat in Surendra Nagar can be tough in the summer, but we keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s a basic setup, really. We have our regulars who come by for a chat and a bit of business. Being near the bus stop means there's always someone walking past, which makes the day go by a bit faster.
