Wonderberry Agri Ventures Private Limited is a bit different because our office is in Navi Mumbai. We are at Office No. A - 504, Plot No 18/19, Sector 15 in CBD Belapur. Even though we are in a city office, our hearts and our work are out in the fields. We call it Wonderberry because we have a real interest in growing berries and other special crops that people in the city want to buy. Being in Belapur helps us bridge the gap between the rural farms and the urban markets. It is a lot of phone calls and sitting in front of computer screens, which is different from being on a tractor. We spend our time coordinating with growers and making sure the logistics are handled. It is a busy office. There are always papers flying around and the phone never stops ringing. We are not a corporate giant; we are a small team trying to make a niche for ourselves in the agri world. We have to deal with traffic and city life, but we are always thinking about the soil and the seasons. Sometimes we get out to the actual plots to see how things are growing. It is a lot of work to manage the business side of farming, and we do our best to keep things running smoothly. We just want to get good produce into the hands of people who appreciate it.
