Wild Rangers

We are based in Kalyan, though we don't really spend much time sitting in an office. Most of us grew up here and we’ve known each other since we were kids. We started this because we all loved being outdoors and going on treks on the weekends. It wasn't really a plan to start a business, it just kind of happened over time. We don't have a fancy storefront or a big sign. Most of our gear is stored in a garage that smells like old tents and campfire smoke. We’re just a group of friends who know the hills around here pretty well. We spend our days checking maps and making sure our equipment isn't falling apart. You won't find us wearing anything other than cargo pants and sturdy boots. We aren't a big tour company with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us who handle everything. Sometimes we meet up at a local dhaba to plan our next trip. We like the rough parts of the job, like getting stuck in the rain or finding a new trail that isn't on the GPS. Kalyan is a good base for us because it’s easy to get to the mountains from here. We don't have a polished pitch or any corporate talk. We just tell people what to expect and make sure everyone gets back in one piece. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we enjoy the freedom of it. It’s just us doing what we love.
