Shikhar Vedh

We’ve been based out of Sanpada for a good while now, specifically in the New Avdhut Society. It’s the C1 building, units 3 and 4, which isn't hard to find once you get into Sector 7 of Vashi. The area is pretty busy most days, but our corner stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we keep all our things organized. Sometimes the fan in the back room makes a bit of a clicking sound, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. Most of the time, we are busy sorting through gear or looking at maps for the next outing. The walls are a bit plain, maybe we should have painted them a different color, but it doesn't really matter for what we do. Our neighbors are nice enough, and they don’t complain when we’re moving heavy boxes around early in the morning. It’s a bit of a walk from the station if the weather is hot, but the breeze from the creek helps sometimes. We usually grab tea from the stall around the corner before starting the day. It’s just us here, making sure everything is ready for whoever walks through the door. You’ll probably see a few dusty boots sitting near the entrance because we just came back from a trip and haven't had a chance to clean them yet. That’s just how it goes here.
