Welcome Fabrication Works

Our workshop, Welcome Fabrication Works, is located in the Singh Compound on Navpada Road, right opposite where Ajit Glass used to be. We are tucked away behind the Oshiwara Post Office in Jogeswari (W). It is a very busy area with lots of small shops and people moving around all the time. Our space is filled with the tools of the trade—welding machines, cutters, and various sizes of iron rods. We don't put on any airs or try to sound like a big company. We are just local workers who know how to handle metal. We make things like safety gates, railings, and various iron frames for local buildings and shops. The work is physically demanding and usually leaves us covered in dust and sweat by the end of the shift. The location is good because people can find us easily once they get to Navpada Road. We don't have any promotional speeches or fancy brochures to give out. If someone needs something made of metal, they come in, we talk about the size and the price, and then we get to work. It gets quite hot in the shop, especially when we are doing a lot of welding in one go. We just try to be accurate with our measurements and make sure the finished product is solid. We have been part of the Jogeswari community for years and just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way, day after day, without much fuss.
