You can find us at the Mermaid 1 building in CBD Belapur. We have shops 8, 9, and 10 on the ground floor. It’s a residential society, so we see a lot of the same faces every single day. Being in Navi Mumbai is a bit different than the main city. It’s a little more spread out, but Sector 11 still gets quite busy. We started this food business because we wanted something local to do. The shops are right next to each other, so we are constantly running between them to check on stock or see how the prep is going. We don’t have a big corporate team behind us. It’s just us and a few helpers from the area. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and checking the fridge temperatures. Sometimes the delivery bikes take up too much space out front and we have to go out and tell them to move. The weather in Thane can get really humid, so we keep the fans going all day. It’s not a fancy place with white tablecloths. It’s a practical setup for getting food out to the people living in the CHSL and the offices nearby. We mostly just focus on making sure we don't run out of ingredients and that the orders go to the right address. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet from morning until late at night.
