Maurya Machineries

Our place is on Road No. 22 in Indira Nagar, which is part of the Wagle Estate area. We are in Rupadevi No. 2, right near the Jost Building. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so you’ll see a lot of workshops and small factories around us. The air usually smells a bit like metal and oil, which is just part of being in this line of work. We’ve got all sorts of machinery tucked into our space. It’s not a very tidy place, to be honest. There are spare parts and tools on almost every flat surface, and we usually have grease on our hands by ten in the morning. We spend a lot of time fixing things and making sure everything is running the way it should. It’s loud, it’s often dirty, and it gets very hot in the middle of the day when the machines have been running for hours. We’ve been here for a good while and we know most of the other guys working on this road. Sometimes we borrow a tool from the neighbor, or they come to us for something they’re missing. It’s a very practical sort of life. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. Most of the day is spent on our feet, moving heavy things around and checking that every bolt is tight. It’s honest work, and we like the feeling of actually building something with our own two hands.
