We spend our days figuring out logistics and trying to make sure the farmers get a fair deal. It’s a lot of back and forth, and sometimes the days are very long, especially when it’s harvest time. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just want to make sure the work gets done and that the people we represent are taken care of. Kalyan is a busy place, and being here helps us stay connected to both the rural areas and the bigger markets. We’ve been in this flat for a while and everyone around knows who we are.
