Viraj Fabricator

If you come down to Gala No. 2 in the MIDC area of Mankoli Village, you’ll find Viraj Fabricator. It’s a loud place. There is almost always the sound of cutting metal or welding going on. We work in a big industrial shed, so it gets quite hot, especially during the summer months. The air is usually thick with the smell of iron and dust. We are located in the heart of the MIDC, so we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. It’s a gritty, hard-working environment. We don't have a fancy office or a place to sit down and have tea in comfort. Most of the time, we are standing up, working with our hands and using heavy tools. Mankoli Village has changed a lot since we first started, but the work we do remains the same. It’s about taking pieces of metal and making them into something useful. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and joining things together. It is physical work that leaves you tired at the end of the day. Sometimes we have big orders that keep us working late into the night. We don't mind it much because it’s what we know how to do. The Gala is our second home. We just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure everything we build is solid and done right. It’s just how we operate.
