Vidyut Metallics Pvt. Ltd.

Our place, Vidyut Metallics Pvt. Ltd., is in Kalyan East, over at the Vandana Co-op Society. We are in room 2/8 in the Katemanewaly area. Kalyan is a big, bustling junction, and Katemanewaly is one of those neighborhoods that is always packed with people. Our office is part of a cooperative society, so it feels more like a residential setting than a business park. We have a small room where we fit in all our equipment and files. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze, but we are used to it. The walls are a bit stained from the dampness of the last monsoon, and we haven't found the time to repaint yet. We have a few old fans that creak when they turn. Most of our work is done on a couple of old computers that take their time to start up in the morning. There’s a small window that looks out onto the society courtyard where kids often play in the evenings. We know most of our neighbors by name, and people often pop their heads in to say hello. It’s a very informal way of working. We don't have any big meetings or corporate presentations. We just handle our accounts and talk to our contacts over the phone. It’s a simple, local operation and we like it that way. Kalyan can be a tough place to navigate, but this little corner is home to us.
