Urjeya Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over in Ambernath East. We are at Bapu Residency, specifically unit B/206 on B-Cabin Road in the Morivali Pada area. Unlike some other groups that are right in the middle of the fields, we are a bit more tucked into the residential side of things here. It gives us a quiet place to handle the business side of farming. Ambernath has a mix of everything, and being based in a residency like Bapu makes it easier to manage the administrative stuff that comes with a producer company. We are not a huge team with a lot of hierarchy. It is mostly just a few of us sitting around a table in B/206, going over figures and talking to farmers from the surrounding areas. We started this because we saw a need for a more organized way to get products from the farm to the people who need them. It is a learning process every day. Some of us are better with the computers and others are better with the crops, so we balance it out. We do not have a lot of fancy furniture or a big sign outside. It is just an honest attempt to run a business that helps out the local farming community. We spend our days making calls, checking on deliveries, and trying to keep everything running smoothly without making it more complicated than it needs to be for the farmers.
