Hindustan Art is located in Ulhasnagar-2, specifically in Room No. 6 of Bk. No. 660. We are quite close to Millan Tower in the Khemani area. The space we have is quite small, but we pack a lot into it. It is filled with frames, canvases, and various art supplies. The floor is stained with ink and paint, and there is always a faint smell of chemicals in the air. We do not have a gallery or a big display window. Most of our work is done on the single large table in the center of the room. People from the neighborhood come to us when they need something made or framed. Ulhasnagar is a very busy place, and our street is no exception. There is always noise from the shops nearby and people shouting in the lane. We have been in this room for years and know exactly where every tool is kept. Sometimes it is a bit of a squeeze when we have a big project. We do not use any fancy marketing. Word usually spreads because someone saw our work at a friend’s house. The lighting is a bit dim, so we often work near the doorway to get some natural sun. It is a humble setup, but it is where we do our best work. We just keep at it, day after day, making things by hand.
