Be@Art

We set up Be@Art on the ground floor of Savita Tower because the light was decent there. Tilak Chowk is always loud, but inside the shop, it stays a bit quieter. We sell supplies and sometimes show some pieces we've worked on. Kalyan City has a lot of people looking for creative things to do on weekends. We started small. Just a few brushes and some canvas rolls. Now we have more stuff crammed onto the shelves. It’s hard to keep things organized. If you come in, you might see me cleaning up some spilled paint or sorting through pens. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It's just a local spot for people who like making things. Sometimes kids come in after school to look at the colorful paper. We talk to the regulars about what they're working on. It’s nice to see what people in the neighborhood are making. We don't have a fancy website or a big team. Usually, it's just one or two of us here. The building is easy to find if you know where the chowk is. We’ve had some rainy days where the floor gets a bit muddy from people coming in, but we just mop it up. We try to keep things simple. If we don't have something, we try to find where you can get it. Just a normal shop doing its thing in Kalyan.
