We are based in Wagle Estate, which is the main industrial hub in Thane. Our office is Gala No 50 on Road No 28 in Hanuman Nagar. Being in a gala means it is a bit of a rugged space. It was probably meant for a small factory or a workshop originally. It is not the kind of place where people wear suits and ties. Transfarm Technologies fits right in here. We have some heavy wooden desks and a lot of cables running around the floor. The area is always buzzing with the sound of trucks and machinery from the nearby units. It can get a bit dusty because of all the activity on the road outside. We usually keep the shutters half-down during the afternoon to keep the heat out of the workspace. Inside, it is just a small group of us working on our computers. We deal with technical stuff that helps other businesses run better. There is a small canteen nearby where we get our lunch, usually just some simple dal and rice. We have been in this spot for some time now and the neighbors know us. It is a no-nonsense environment for work. We do not have any decorative plants or fancy lighting in the office. We just have the tools we need to do our jobs. Getting here can be a bit of a crawl during peak hours, but that is just part of living in Thane.
