We spend most of our time at A-103 in the Bhumiraj Twin Bridge Society. It is on Plot No. 1, which is easy to find once you get into the neighborhood. Thinking Trains isn't some massive corporation with a glass building. We are just a few people who like working with our hands and thinking through problems. The office is usually cluttered with sketches and small parts. We started out just wanting to do something we actually enjoyed. Every morning, the first thing we do is put the kettle on. The society is quiet, which helps when we need to focus. Sometimes the security guards at the gate ask us what we’re building today. We don’t really have a big pitch or a fancy speech. If you walk in, you’ll see some old wooden desks and a lot of coffee mugs. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. It feels like home. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves, from answering the phone to packing up boxes. It’s not always glamorous. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of tape. But we like the routine of it. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep the lights on and do work that feels right to us. It is a simple life here at the society, and that suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and get on with it.
