Symbiosis Strappings Pvt. Ltd. is based at Door No-703 in the Autumn Grove building. We are located near Green Hills and right opposite the Lokhandwala Foundation School in Kandivali East. It is a busy neighborhood, especially when school lets out and the streets get full of parents and kids. Even though we have a formal name, it is really just a handful of us working here every day. We handle strappings and packaging materials, which sounds simple but there is a lot to keep track of. My desk is usually covered in samples and bits of plastic strap that I’ve been testing. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the machines to make sure everything is running okay. It’s not always a smooth process; sometimes the machines act up or a delivery truck gets stuck in the Kandivali traffic. We just take it as it comes. We aren't a huge corporation with a lot of departments. If you call, you’ll probably just talk to me or one of the other three guys here. We like it that way because it keeps things simple and we know exactly what is going on with every order. It can get a bit loud in the unit when everything is running, but we have a good view of the hills which makes the long afternoons a bit better when we take a break.
