Sunko Engineering

Our shop is located at B/6 in the Bush Villa Society, right off Road No. 22 in the Wagle Industrial Estate. It’s a crowded area with a lot of noise from the neighboring units, but we like it that way. We’ve been doing engineering work here for quite some time. The space is a bit tight with all the lathes and workbenches squeezed in, yet we manage to find what we need. It’s usually a bit oily on the floor and there’s always a pile of metal shavings near the back door. We spend most of our time staring at blueprints or adjusting tools. It isn't the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We wear work clothes that usually end up with a few stains by noon. Dealing with the traffic on Road 22 can be a headache when deliveries arrive, but that’s part of being in an industrial zone. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big signs. Most people find us because they heard from someone else in the estate. The guys here have been working together for years, so we have a rhythm. We just focus on the job at hand and making sure the parts fit right. Sometimes we stay late when a machine breaks down or a deadline is looming. It's just honest engineering work without any extra fluff. We like the local feel of the society here and the way people just get on with it.
